Did you see the recent article in Southern Living?The Destin area, once again, was voted the # 1 beach town/resort and # 3 for a family vacation spot in the South. Since I’m one of the fortunate few that lives where others vacation, it was not a surprise to me. All I can say is the weather is great, the beaches are beautiful, and the people that visit are here to enjoy life to the fullest. I don’t know of any other place where so many diverse influences of the South come together to create a culture that’s un-describable. Great food, great times, great people! It’s no surprise that each and every year, more and more people are taking advantage of the truly wonderful seasons of spring and fall this area has to offer.

Whether it’s the: numerous art & wine festivals, Destin Fishing Rodeo, gumbo cook-off at the Market Shops, Destin Seafood Festival, Sandestin Blue Marlin Classic with it’s over $ 1.5 mil payout, playing golf or just lounging around on “THE BEACH”……there is always as much or as little as you want to do!
